Help with research

Mental health problems can affect anyone regardless of age, gender, race or social background. But together we can make a difference.

Our researchers are examining what leads to the development of mental health problems, from genetics and biology to psychological and environmental factors.

We believe that a better understanding of mental health problems is the key to making life better for those affected by them. But we need your help to make a difference.

How can I help? ADD LINK

Joining our community is easy – it involves completing an online sign-up form which asks about your contact details and some personal information, like your ethnicity and date of birth. There are also questions about your mental and physical health, as well as your lifestyle. It should take around 10-15 minutes to complete and all the information you provide is confidential.

You can learn more about getting involved and completing your registration on our research community page.

Depending on the information you provide, for example, where you live or the diagnoses you’ve received, we may contact you about studies we currently have available for you to take part in.

Are there any other ways I can help?

You can visit our opportunities page to see what other projects are looking for participants.

You can also help spread the word about our research! Invite your friends and family members to join our research community, regardless of whether they’ve experienced a mental illness.
